Hello. Just thought I'd update with an updated version of my up-to-date life.

Paul and Hannah were down this weekend. They helped me write a really good CV (Paul works with computer software and spends most of his week talking up products that are absolutely wank to potential large company clients, so he had no trouble talking up his lil' sis!), and a covering letter for Waterstones, which is where I'm heading tomorrow to hand it in and see if they are willing to hire me.

We went to see The Black Dahlia last night. I was looking forward to it because I was intrigued, but a bit apprehentious because I'd read a few reviews which said it was very confusing and hard to follow. But I actually really enjoyed it. A nice amount of blood and guts, not too much, but more than none, and even some tongue in cheek humour. I've never really considered Josh Hartnett to be an actor, even though I know he is. I just bunged him in with all those other talentless, american, 20-30 year old, reasonably good looking actors/actresses who get their big break on some Californian "drama" series, although he didn't. But he was actually quite good as Bucky.

What else can I tell you? Hmmm. I had a close encounter with a fucking huge spider on Friday. I swear it was the size of Emmie's HEAD! I'm not kidding. And it was fast as fuck. It was on my curtain. There was even an amusing moment when the doorbell rang and I ran down the stairs, opened the door and asked the postman if he would maybe try and get rid of it for me. He tried, but couldn't catch it.

I just watched th Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix. I wouldn't say it's more interesting than F1, but it's quite a bit shorter and easier to pay attention to. Maybe I'll start watching that, too.

Anyway, I'll be off. Goodbye and god bless.

P.s Gemma told me the other day that she saw someone at here college who looked exactly like me, has the same dress sense and music taste, too. At least she won't be missing me where she is! That's a bit strange, though.

I thought that Josh Hartnett seemed a little stiff as far as acting goes in the Black Dahlia :/ (my two cents)

I really enjoyed it. And we had ice cream, too. Hannah's treat, since I paid for us all to have a round at the pub beforehand. Mmm, ice cream.

I see your point, but in my opinion he was better in the role than alot of those typical hollywoody types of the same stature would be, for instance... *mind goes blank* the male equivalant of Jennifer Garner? Or even worse, the male equivalant of Lindsay Lohan *shudders*
